How to Use Social Media to Help You in Your College Years

There’s an app for that, and a social media platform, and an internet black hole that will chew up your already limited time and spit you back out as a jealous, anxious, unmotivated version of yourself.

It’s college. Ain’t nobody got time for that sort of mishap.

There are plenty of studies only a Google search away giving you every reason to hate social media. But with the bad there is always an inkling of good. Putting social media to use from a strategic perspective can actually improve your college experience. Hint: The strategy isn’t to obtain the elusive verified check or becoming an ‘influencer’.

Unveiling the hidden benefits of social media for college students requires breaking each platform down to examine their own unique capabilities and how their particular brand of social interaction can be skewed in your favor.
